Now ☀️17 °C - 🌡️2 °C - 🌧️0%

  1. It will be a hot spring day today with a high of 17 °C and a fully clear sky, just what the doctor ordered for the eclipse! Here in Montreal, I'll have about 1 min and 30 seconds to take a photo while the eclipse is in full swing.
  2. I like those extraordinary events that aren't human-made, but nature-made. I feel excited, just like when I was a young teenager and was doing astronomical observation using a telescope that someone lent me for a few years.
  3. The new iPad are closer than ever, and I can't wait to use one with an external monitor. This is something I was thinking about this past weekend.
  4. I took a few hundred images yesterday with my new camera, and the wireless upload to my Synology NAS was fast and flawless. I could monitor the progress through Synology Photos as the images were automatically catalogued. Now, I can't wait to have the RAW image format be recognized by macOS.
  5. I think I'm not going to add another website for my travelling journal. I'll use what I already have. I have met the inflection point of what I can't manage. Photos will go to Pixelfed / Glass. Text posts will go Micro.blog / Scribbles.
